As a result of the current exponential growth of new COVID cases in New Orleans and the region and the ongoing public health emergency and flooding, we must sadly announce that the 2021 edition of the THE REAL POWER SUMMIT (RPS), scheduled to take place September 30-October 3, 2021, will be POSTPONED.
We now look forward to hosting this long-awaited event next spring, when we will present the Summit during the week of Mardi Gras, Friday, March 4-Sunday, March 6, 2022. Fat Tuesday of Mardi Gras is on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 for those looking to make a week of it. Our hotel rates are good four days before and four days afterwards.
Registered attendees for RPS will have their summit monies honored 100% next spring prayerfully when it is safe to do so, and we have super great news!
We have condensed our Real Power Summit back to only 3 days and 2 nights to help you save on hotel and transportation expenses.
And, We are moving our RPS All White Riverboat Experience to Saturday, March 5th from 1pm-5pm. It will now be a day party! And, it will be FREE to all of those who register for The Real Power Summit. We were able to make that happen as a result of a grant Power to Exhale recently received.
For those not registered for the summit, the price of the tickets will be $25.00.
In summary, The Real Power Summit will remain in New Orleans. We are simply following the lead of festivals like Bonner Brothers and the Jazz Festival and moving our dates to March 4-6, 2022. That’s a Friday-Saturday.
In the meantime, we urge everyone to follow the guidelines, strongly consider getting vaccinated and follow the protocols put forth by public health officials, so that we can all experience together the POWER that is the Summit next spring!!!
I’m saddened that I won’t get to see you next month. But, we must be responsible and considerate. I am equally excited about this well of POWER that will be springing forth in March, and I’m excited that we are allowed to GIFT the Riverboat Experience to all of you, and no one has to miss it because it was on Thursday. That’s exciting. So, we all win, and we are all doing what is necessary to stay safe!!!!!
